From our families to yours, have a safe and joyful holiday season!
Resamoo came to The Literacy Alliance to learn English. There is a location close to her house, which makes it easy to continue her studies. When she came to TLA, she was not a confident English speaker. Driven by a love of learning, Resamoo often comes to class tired after a full day of work, but her hard work is paying off. “I come to class to learn more English. I want to speak more, I know it’s not perfect, but to be better is what I want. I also want to show my children that we need to work hard. I’m working and come to school in the evenings, even when I’m tired. I want them to do that too, work hard. I would also like to finish my HSE. I don’t know how long it’ll take because I’m not studying as much, but as long as TLA continues, I will come to class.”
