Tax-Advantaged Giving
Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP)
NAP credits are allocated yearly to nonprofits serving low-income communities. Your donation to TLA could earn you a 50% state tax credit.
Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
A charitable giving account lets you contribute, get an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to charities over time.
Qualified Charitable Deduction (QCD)

Habitat Libraries
Since 2007, TLA has provided start-up family libraries to new Habitat for Humanity homes, encouraging families to read together and fostering a love of learning.
The Schlichtenmyer Scholarship Fund
This fund provides stipends to help students overcome financial barriers, such as tuition, books, or living expenses, while attending Ivy Tech to earn a certification or degree.

GED Ready Test
Each GED Ready test costs $5. Help our students gain the confidence to pass the GED and earn their HSE diploma. With your support, they’ll be “GED Ready!”
