Wishing you a safe and happy holiday!
Hi. I’m Debbie, and I am 38 years old. I am married and have five kids, two cats and one dog. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love arts and crafts. My husband says it’s like living with a 4-and-a-half-year-old because I love colorful things and things most don’t think are normal. I like unique stuff!
I came to The Literacy Alliance to get my High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma to prove to my kids that it isn’t that hard. I also came because Lori, my daughter’s tutor, told me about this school. I hope to learn study skills and anything that I can take and use in the next part of my life.

My goal is to go to college to become an advocate for children with special needs.
Debbie completed her first goal and passed the high school equivalency (HSE) exam in April of 2022. She is currently making plans to attend college. We can’t wait to see what she will accomplish next!
