I also want to encourage those who are mentally disabled, like me, to attend The Literacy Alliance to improve themselves...
Thank you to the incredible team at 1st Source Bank for choosing The Literacy Alliance for this year’s United Way Day of Caring project! Your hard work and dedication helped build 20 beautiful bookshelves, which will be donated along with starter libraries to new Habitat for Humanity homeowners throughout the year.
We’re so grateful for your support in spreading the joy of reading and helping build stronger, more literate communities.
Why is volunteering important to 1st Source Bank and its employees?
At 1st Source Bank, we believe that our work is a reflection of the vibrant communities we serve. Partnering with The Literacy Alliance during the United Way Day of Caring was a powerful opportunity to give back. Our team was honored to help build bookcases for new Habitat for Humanity homeowners, offering a meaningful first piece of furniture as they start their new chapter.
This experience highlighted the value of our partnership with The Literacy Alliance in strengthening our community. We’re grateful to work together in building brighter futures for our neighbors.
Thank you for the continued partnership and for making a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve together.
