Hello, my name is Megan, and I’m 31 years young. I’m from Fort Wayne. I have two children and work at a local restaurant.
I came to The Literacy Alliance (TLA) because I thought it would be a better fit than going to any other HiSET/high school equivalency (HSE) classes in the area. I never really paid attention to my classes when I was in school. Math was always my weakest subject. My goal at TLA was to get help with as much as possible in all the subjects, and, thankfully, I have achieved it.
“My experience here has been pretty good. It has been very helpful, and I’m thankful I stuck with it. I honestly don’t know what I would be doing today if it wasn’t for this program. ”
My experience here has been pretty good. It has been very helpful, and I’m thankful I stuck with it. I honestly don’t know what I would be doing today if it wasn’t for this program. I’m very pleased with everyone here and thankful for all the help the staff gives. I’m leaving the program, super proud of myself. My next plan is to attend Ivy Tech for Medical 3D printing.
Thank you, TLA, for everything!
Megan finished her first goal by passing the HiSET exam and obtaining her HSE diploma in August 2022. We can’t wait to see what she will accomplish next!
