Nikki Minarik

Since March 2023, Nikki Minarik has served as the Volunteer and Event Coordinator at The Literacy Alliance. As a returning adult student, Nikki earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2022, graduating among the top five students in her department. She also holds an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College.

Before joining The Literacy Alliance, Nikki spent five years substitute teaching with East Allen County Schools and volunteered with several nonprofit organizations. . She serves on the Maysville Regional Water and Sewer Board and the Harlan Days Festival Committee. Passionate about education and community service, Nikki believes we are always one story away from understanding one another.

Nikki served in the United States Air Force, where she met her husband, Jason. They have two children, Logan and TaylorAnn, and enjoy traveling together. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with their beloved dogs, Webster, Ziggy, and Penny.
