J.C. York
J.C. York served Project Reads as a bookkeeper for 14 years before the program joined the Literacy Alliance in August 2021. Now, as a site coordinator, he continues his mission to help students in Allen County achieve grade-level reading before the end of the third grade.
A graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Ball State University with a Master of Arts in Accounting, J.C. has been married to his wife, Sharon York, for 51 years. They have one daughter, Natalie, two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. J.C. enjoys fishing, reading, collecting die-cast model cars, working at home in the yard, and spending time with the family.
