Ways to Give

• Join The Honor Society: Our monthly giving program allows you to provide consistent support that helps us plan and expand our programs. Regular contributions ensure that more students can benefit from our services throughout the year.
• Contribute to The Schlichtenmyer Scholarship Fund: Your donations make education accessible to those who need financial support to begin or continue their learning journey at Ivy Tech.
• Become a member of The Stabelli Society: Include The Literacy Alliance in your will and leave a legacy that underscores the importance of literacy and education for future generations.
• Volunteer Your Time: Our volunteers are the backbone of our success. Whether you help with tutoring, fundraising, or administration, your time is a valuable gift that enriches our community.
• You may always Donate Online on our secure website.
• Effortless giving! Log into your Kroger account, search for THE LITERACY ALLIANCE by name or EC246, and click Enroll. Then, when you do your weekly shopping, Kroger will donate to TLA at no added cost.
• Everyday support: Our Amazon Wish List allows you to help us by offsetting the cost of supplies. This list is updated regularly, so check back often!
• Donor Advised Funds (DAF): A charitable giving account allowing donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to charities over time.
• Qualified Charitable Deduction (QCD): A direct transfer of funds from your IRA to a qualified charity, often used to satisfy the required minimum distribution without incurring taxes
• Shares of Support: The Literacy Allowance can accept your charitable gift of stock.
• Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP): The Literacy Alliance is a provider of NAP credits that are allocated annually to non-profit organizations that serve low-income communities. Your donations to TLA can allow you to receive a 50% state tax credit; please contact Laura for details and availability.
